Midwest Theory Day

The Fall 2010 Midwest Theory day will take place at TTIC, on Saturday, Dec. 11.

Background

Midwest Theory Day is a biannual meeting, aimed at bringing together computer theorists, and people generally interested in theoretical computer science, to share results and ideas, discuss research directions, and get to know each other better. The 61st Midwest Theory Day will take place at TTIC on Saturday, Dec. 11. Anyone interested in theoretical computer science is welcome to attend. Registration is free, breakfast and lunch will be provided. Information about previous Midwest Theory Days is available at http://facweb.cs.depaul.edu/jrogers/MTD/.

Location

Midwest Theory Day will take place at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago located on the University of Chicago campus.

Address: 6045 S. Kenwood Ave., Chicago, IL 60637. TTIC is located on the 5^th floor. There is a parking lot adjacent to the building (see the campus map). Parking is free on Saturdays. You can also get to TTIC from Chicago downtown by public transportation:

Metra Rail trains from downtown to U. of Chicago campus. You need 59th St. or 55th–57th St. stations (not all trains stop at 59th St.)
Buses: #2 (60th St. and Dorchester stop), #6 and X28 (60th St. and Stony Island). Maps and schedules can be found on the CTA web site.
